Following are some choices to read for The Southern Belle Challenge. Also, there is a poll for you to vote whether you want to read one book together for the month or choose several to read during September. I thought that it would be great either way to read Gone With the Wind since it is the 75th Anniversary for that book being published. Let me know by your vote what you would prefer to do as a group!

How about adding my beloved Ferrol Sams' trilogy, "Whisper of the River, Run with the Horsemen, and When All the World was Young"??? LOVE these coming of age stories!
Don't forget Connie May Fowler's "Before Women Had Wings" Thank you! Gayle Bax
I'm so excited. I like the idea of reading several books in September!! Maybe we can pick certain days of the month to target discussion about some of them.
I'm a huge Mary Kay Andrews and Mary Alice Monroe fan....tickled to see them on the list (of course I've read those!!)
Here's to wonderful southern books, y'all!
Hugs and happy reading~
